Commission

A Bespoke Painting,
Made Just For You

A commissioned piece is a collaboration — your story, translated into paint. A limited number of commissions are accepted each season, so that every piece receives the time and care it deserves.

How It Works

From first message to the piece arriving at your door — here's what to expect.

01

Share Your Idea

Reach out via Instagram or email with a little about what you're picturing — a colour, a feeling, a story you'd like on your wall.

02

Aligning the Vision

Together we shape the brief — size, palette, mood and any meaningful details — until the concept feels right.

03

The Painting Process

Your piece is created by hand in the studio, layer by layer. You'll receive updates along the way.

04

Delivery

Once complete and fully cured, your original painting is carefully packaged and sent to you.

Finding Your Vision

A few gentle prompts to help shape your brief — no need to have all the answers before reaching out.

·

What colour palette feels right to you at this moment?

·

What emotion do you want the piece to bring into your space?

·

Is there a moment or milestone you'd like the piece to hold?

·

Are there any motifs you'd love included — flowers, a particular shape, a texture?

·

Which existing pieces from the collections speak to you most?

·

Do you have any personal reference images you'd like to share?

Sizes & Pricing

Every commission is mixed media on canvas, made to fit your space — the same materials and technique as Sharon's original collections.

Size is agreed together based on your space and vision, and the price is set accordingly. Get in touch to talk it through and receive a personalized quote.

Prices are exclusive of VAT, customs duties and any other applicable taxes payable by the buyer.

Good to Know

Who owns the piece?

The original painting is entirely yours to keep and display. Sharon retains the copyright and reproduction rights to the artwork — commissioning a piece doesn't include permission to reproduce it (prints, book covers, etc.).

Can I request changes?

One complimentary revision is included once the piece is complete. Further adjustments beyond that can usually be arranged for an additional fee, discussed case by case.

How many commissions are accepted?

Only a handful per season, so every piece gets the studio's full attention. If a spot isn't available right away, you're welcome to join the waitlist for the next opening.

How long does it take?

Timelines vary with size and the current commission queue — this is discussed and agreed together before the piece begins.
